Chinoiserie Chic House Tour - The Foyer

We continue today with my house tour with a peek at my foyer. I love my house, but probably my least favorite feature is that it it has a teeny weeny entryway with no space for furniture at all.

I had it painted in one of my favorite blue paint colors, Benjamin Moore Icy Morn in Aura matte finish.

I decided to have some fun with the dramatic high ceilings with a mix of art and fanciful pieces. I found the smaller gold faux taxidermy at HomeGoods and the large paper mache unicorn is from Pottery Barn Teen.

I found these samples of a $795 a yard embroidered Chinoiserie fabric - River Song by Brunschwig & Fils on Etsy and framed them in Ribba frames from Ikea.

This is a favorite piece of art of mine - an oil painting of a tulipiere.

Here you see a glimpse of the living room and my new gilded Chinese Chippendale chair from Charlotte & Ivy.

  5. Beth, the room at the top of the stairs has a wonderful glow - is it the sunset or a fabulous paint color? Please share - my daughter is on the hunt for a sunset glow paint color. I had one many years ago that was perfect, but I cannot find the paint brand or color any longer. Thank you!
