Yesterday I posted an inspiration board that featured a pink sofa. Pink sofas are becoming quite mainstream and quite the decorating trend.
I have a Pinterest board here on Pink Sofas. I love it above paired with Scalamandre's Chinoise Exotique.
Do you remember years ago when Domino magazine ran this photo of a living room with a pink daybed? People couldn't stop talking about it.
A pink sofa works in any style living room, but is at its best paired with Chinoiserie. A pink sofa is amazing with blue and white Chinese porcelain and black and gold lacquered Chinoiserie furniture. Use it with black and gold to keep it sophisticated and adult. Zebra is a natural with it.
Here are some wonderful examples -

Oh, so pretty!! I wonder if I could talk my husband into a pick couch? :)
ReplyDeleteThinking I wanted our tv chaise in a marine blue velvet - but I could go pink, it would be terrific.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the look!
