I am excited to be partnering with
Thibaut to bring you their latest Chinoiserie pattern called South Sea, part of
their new Resort Collection. This collection is nostalgic and bold, celebrating bright days in sophisticated style. It is perfect for the lover of Palm Beach Chic and Chinoiserie Chic.
Thibaut's inspiration for South Sea was to create a silhouette design of their iconic Marco Polo pattern and color it in bright colorways in today's hottest colors. It is available in
wallpaper and
printed fabric. I received samples of all the colorways and they are truly spectacular. So vibrant! I know South Sea is going to be a huge success in the interior design world. It is the epitome of what I call Chinoiserie Chic - today's version of Chinoiserie that is fresh and modern, but with classic and historic underpinnings. I can't wait to use it.

ReplyDeleteDo you know, or could you ask Thibaut, why they have stopped showing full pattern repeats? Love the new line, but the South Sea toile jpeg is chopped off just a tad on the width. Is the collection so new they haven't added all the information yet such as fiber content, vertical repeat, etc.?

ReplyDeleteMy sample book from this collection arrived today and the ONLY reason I didn't bust open the box when it arrived was because I have a 9 week old puppy who is taking ALL of my time.....in addition to a 2 and 5 year old. I love this collection and cannot wait to use it. What amazes me is that one woman and two assistants (according to my rep) do Thibaut's designs. That is three very talented people! Everything they do these days is so fresh and inspiring.
