Chinoiserie Chic Christmas - Charlotte Moss
This photo is of Charlotte Moss' now defunct store in NYC, but it provides inspiration for a wonderful Chinoiserie table setting for the holidays - a red pagoda lantern for a centerpiece, potted red amaryllis, Michael Devine's red and white pagoda fabric "Garden Folly," and blue and white Chinese porcelain. Gump's has a great red pagoda lantern, and these lanterns have also been popping up at HomeGoods in green and in copper.

What a lovely table! No one does it quite like Charlotte! I have those lanterns in the copper and the green but have not seen them at HG. After seeing them in black I am seriously thinking of painting my green pair , as that verdigris finish is my least fave. Once again you are my inspiration for the day!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the table. So many goodies. Love the blue and white.
ReplyDeleteLoved your Miles post too. My favorite darling.
