Here are three great examples of how a red and white Chinoiserie wallpaper can transform a bathroom. Above, Kate and Andy Spade's bathroom from The Selby. Just below, Ashley Whittaker's design featured in House Beautiful. Bottom, Meg Braff's bath from House Beautiful.
I would happily call any of these gorgeous bathrooms my own. I love Ashley Whitlakers work and admired from the start the Spades stunning bathroom...so lively and fresh!
ReplyDeleteI just put red chinoiserie/toile in my small guest bath wtih creamy colored marble and its offically the prettiest room in my house.
ReplyDeleteAll three are very attractive to be sure. A bright, intense wallpaper works in a Powder Room, especially if there is a window.
ReplyDeleteI would like to know the name of the wallpaper pattern in the first and third photos if you have it.
ReplyDeleteAs always, thank you for your blog. I have learned a lot and really enjoy the inspiration.
CC-The wallpaper is Jardin Chinois Red by Waterhouse Wallhangings.
ReplyDeleteOkay. This settles it. I'm considering navy chinoiserie for my powder room...and now my mind is made up. I must have it! So glad I found your blog :)
