My friend Averill at Odi et Amo did a recent post on her favorite blue rooms. These three really spoke to me on the subject of how a touch or two of Chinoiserie elevates any room. In the dining room above by T. Keller Donovan, the faux blue and white ginger jars on the sideboard and the framed blue and white Chinese porcelain plate prints are wonderful. In the bedroom below by Christina Murphy, the Leontine linens transform the room into a Chinoiserie paradise. In the sitting room by Waterleaf Interiors, the garden stool and Chinoiserie toile make all the difference.
