With a $5.00 can of black paint and a great silk or other high end remnant, you will have an even nicer and much cheaper Chinoiserie piece. But I do love the black and aqua color combination. A great idea to borrow and do your own better version.

ReplyDeleteAfter reading your blog, I bought 2 stools, painted them black and recovered them in a black and white trellis. They are now at home at the end of my bed. Thanks for the tip!!
