This wonderful idea is from the November issue of House Beautiful and is from interior designer Martha Angus. She used scraps of de Gournay left over from a showhouse project to cover the dining table, protected by Plexiglass. The napkin is aubergine with the menu on top, the flatware is face down European style. I bet you are curious to see the showhouse room too-click here for my previous post. Keep your eyes open on eBay for scraps of fabrics like Fortuny and wallpaper like de Gournay, Gracie, and Fromental. I bet many of you have something else de Gournay in your homes.
