Chinoiserie Sconces


Pictured above are a beautiful pair of Chinoiserie sconces at MJH Designs that were used in Michelle Nussbaumer's room at the Veranda Showhouse Greystone Manor in Los Angeles. They are available here for $3950. To see my previous post on her space click here. Pictured below are my Chinoiserie sconces snagged at a tag sale for $50 for the pair. What do you think?

    I can't believe what you manage to dig up at tag sales. Gorgeous and far too close an approximation of Nussbaumer's to justify her price!

    Wow, they are simply gorgeous! Oh and if you are ever in the Chicago area, you have to check out Pagoda Red if you haven't already. You would love it! Full of antiques brought over from China by the owner. xo, Crystal

    Late commenting on this post, but I am GREEN with envy over your fabulous find! And because I am all DESIRE and NO COMMON SENSE, know that if I had $4K that wouldn't be missed I would be buying Ms. Nussbaumer's in a HEARTBEAT!!!

    The MJH Design Sconces are so beautifully executed, love the rock crystal drop, really chic. AND I think you had quite a find yourself, what a bargain!
