I adore the Beverly Hills apartment of Joe Nye featured in the August 2009 issue of House Beautiful. I wanted to make sure you didn't miss all of his Chinoiserie touches. Above is his bedroom with Travers Chinoiserie curtains. Below is another view of the bedroom with a Frances Elkins Art Deco japanned dressing table.
An antique Chinoiserie pedestal table:
Set with Mottahedeh Blue Canton plates and Juliska bamboo flatware.
A dramatic red and black bathroom with parrot tulips:
I love that bedroom. It's eclectic and pulled together all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteAbby-He's a brilliant designer.
ReplyDeleteDid you notice how beeautiful the wood floor is in the dining room (second up from bottom). And I am totally digging the melon-colored draperies!
ReplyDeleteKitty-That melon is the color of my silk dining room curtains-love that color.

ReplyDeleteI love the greek key headboard.
