Gold Spray Paint + Chinoiserie = Glamour

There is no easier way to add glamour to a room than to spray paint a vintage Chinoiserie piece gold. Great candidates include a faux bamboo chair, a pagoda chandelier, a Chinese Chippendale chair, a lamp, foo dogs, or a fretwork table.

A favorite trick of mine is to spray paint in gold plastic animals like elephants and giraffes, from places like Michaels or Target, to add a touch of glamour to a dresser, bar cart, or desk.

Beth,
I have that exact faux bamboo chair! What a good idea...
I wasn't sure what to do with it and now I have some direction.

Such a easy, clever idea. Do you have a particular gold spray paint you prefer? Thank you.
