Vintage Brass Animals

Vintage brass animals have been popping up all over the pages of interior design magazines and with good reason. They are the perfect finishing touch for a coffee table, a bookcase, a bar cart, an end table, on top of coffee table books, or any tablescape. They add a touch of whimsy, vintage style, and the unexpected. They have been selling on One Kings Lane for big $$$. My new sponsor AnthologyHouse has some lovely ones and they are all very well priced. Their Etsy shop is wonderful - they have a keen eye for vintage pieces and a special affinity for all things Chinoiserie.

Here are some vintage beauties currently available at AnthologyHouse -

Elephant

Mouse

Bull

Swan bookends

Butterflies

Fish

Swan planters

Love this post! Have you come across any brass horse figures for the equestrian lover? @designing44.blogspot.com

Beth I love these brass menageries! It is so fun to mix metallics now that they work really well in decor!

Love this collection you put together. We couldn't agree more, brass animals are a great way to incorporate a bit of glam + whimsy into the home.

Love the peacock. I have an old brass horse in my Etsy shop: TheRicharmedLife.Etsy.com It's a bit worn and weathered, but then I like my vintage to look really vintage. =)
