A Rainbow of Chinese Chippendale Chairs

This is my Chinese Chippendale Chair I found for $55.00, painted in Farrow & Ball Skylight, and covered in a lovely Cowtan & Tout fabric I already had in my stash. If you are lucky enough to find a Chinoiserie chair of your own, don't be afraid to paint it any color at all. Everything works on these beauties.

  5. I adore them all. I have several myself. I actually have over 30 chiavari ballroom chairs I picked up recently and want to paint them in some of the luscious colors you've shown here. Thanks for the inspiration!!

  9. Andrea-I have seen great sets at flea markets-last summer I saw a set of 6 for $150. That would be my best advice.
