Treasure Island, Florida |
I love HGTV's Rock the Block. The latest version of Battle on the Beach is set right up the road in Treasure Island, Florida just north of St. Pete Beach. The attached bare bones waterfront (canal) homes are valued at $1.7 million each and the four teams each have $250,000 and six weeks to finish and furnish them. Furniture and decor are provided by Wayfair. Wow - the Gulf Coast of Florida is getting pricey! And they are not even detached homes or oceanfront!
The Teams are :
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler (Renovation Island)
Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas (Bargain Block)
Lindsay Lamb and Leslie Davis (Unsellable Houses)
Page Turner and Mitch Glew (Fix My Flip)
New shows air Mondays at 9 pm. The premiere was March 4th but you can catch up by streaming.
I am having fun seeing the Florida beach vibe the teams bring to these nearby Gulf coast homes.
If you would like a coffee table book or two on Florida style, here are my favorites -

Palm Beach Living by Jennifer Ash Rudick |
Yes, very fun show to watch I like Sarah‘s designs, the best!
ReplyDeleteWhat’s the address, would love to see it up close?
ReplyDeleteLike the show too. Used to live on isle Capri. However, an outdoor shower should be on level one when you get off the beach or the boat before entering your beautiful home. Besides, there's a 5 star bathroom inside.
ReplyDeleteSarah and Brian house and design a mile ahead of the others
ReplyDeleteI agree but I liked them all except for the twins. How can you win with awful design because you put in solar panels? Bizarre.
DeleteTreasure Island is our favorite place!
ReplyDeleteLoved Keith & Evan's and Sarah & Brian's designs. Disliked the twins design. It lacked the elegance of the other three designs.
