The Chinoiserie Baby Shower

The Chinoiserie baby shower created by Mary McDonald as pictured in the May 2005 House Beautiful. Note the stunning color palette of pink, blue and white for a baby girl's shower. The blue and white Chinese porcelain and blue and white table linens keep it elegant and not too sweet. The invitations were lined in photocopies of Scalamandre's Chi'en Dragon.

  4. This is beautiful! Often, baby showers end up looking "too baby-ish" (if you get what I mean) This one celebrates a new life with flowers and a fun palette. I love it. I can imagine the lucky Mommy must have been thrilled :)

Averill - this would be great!
