Mushroom has emerged as a color trend for 2017 and I love it as a backdrop for Chinoiserie, especially blue and white Chinese porcelain. The hallway above is painted in a favorite color of mine, Benjamin Moore HC77 Alexandria Beige.

The walls of the hallway are painted in a favorite paint color of mine - Benjamin Moore HC - 77 Alexandria Beige. Not only is this a great taupe, but I have lived in Alexandria, Virginia for about 30 years. Notice the pop of color the pair of blue and white ginger jars gives against this warm taupe.
