Pagoda Phil emerged from his ginger jar at 7:42 am EST today to retrieve his Sunday New York Times from his driveway. A waiting reporter asked Pagoda Phil whether he is predicting 6 more weeks of winter to which he replied, "It's February 2, and spring doesn't start until March 20, so that would be a safe bet." To which he added, "I am picking Denver, it's Manning's year."
And Punxsutawney Phil is predicting 6 more weeks of winter as well.
