Interesting Chinoiserie Combinations

The 1920s chair above was from Sherrill Canet's sale on One Kings Lane. It combines black leather and cane with a black lacquered hand painted Chinoiserie motif. The 19th century Jacobean style bench with oak barley-twist legs was on Eric Cohler's One Kings Lane sale. It is newly upholstered using Michael Devine's linen pagoda fabric Garden Folly. The spaces below by these designers reflect this interesting combining of Chinoiserie with other styles. Only 1 hour left to enter my giveaway here. The winner will be announced at noon.

Charleston Chinoiserie

I love the 19th century Chinese pagoda lantern in this beautiful piazza of the Charleston home of Manhattan interior designer Eric Cohler featured in Veranda.
