I will secretly admit that if I see one more painted reproduction Chinese Chippendale chair I will gag myself with a chopstick. So I was thrilled to find these beautiful modern Chinoiserie pieces via the wonderful blog Chic Coles. Made by Design Workshop, Inc. out of North Carolina, their furniture has a wonderful traditional classic meets modern industrial edge. My favorite pieces are the bamboo lounge chair and ottoman in a nickel chrome finish above with down filled linen cushions, the bamboo dining chair in nickel chrome with black alligator cushion below, and a bamboo dining chair with arms in nickel chrome with black alligator cushion bottom. I could see these in a living room, dining room or study. All are gorgeous, don't you agree?
