Tortoiseshell Clutch

 

I cannot stand beige and tan in my home or wardrobe. When I moved into my gated community, there was a required color book for painting the exterior of your home and the entire palettte was various shades of beiges and tans. I got the entire color book thrown out and now you can use whites and creams and grays and blues and such. The woman responsible for the old colors then died of a heart attack. I hope there was no connection.

I do love chocolate brown and tortoiseshell and they are perfect colors for fall. I got this tortoishell clutch from J.Crew last summer and love it. They have brought it back and you can find it here on sale.

The chocolate berry colorway is stunning. In dimmer light it looks berry and in the light it looks chocolate - very pretty.

I might be wearing this for Thanksgiving. It would be perfect.
