Happy New Year - Onward & Upward

I think that for many of us, 2025 was a complicated year with a lot of loss. But in the words of Albert Einstein, “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow." The great thing about a new year is that it is a clean slate, a chance to start anew.

So may 2026 be a better year for ourselves, our families, our friends, our neighbors, our country, and our world.

Thanks for following Chinoiserie Chic. This spring my blog will turn 17 years old! Only a fraction of one percent of blogs last this long with 80% abandoned within 18 months. So here's to a happy and hopeful year for all of us.
