I am on a bit of a nutcracker theme this Christmas. I will share more after I decorate CCC. Nutcrackers date back many hundreds of years. But it was the Tchaikovsky ballet The Nutcracker, introduced in 1892, that established a connection between the nutcracker and Christmas.
This fabulous leather nutcracker above is a Kate Spade handbag. I am getting it for myself to use as a decoration at CCC and to wear for my Christmas party.
Perhaps this would make a great gift for someone on your list. (And I have found it on sale reduced from $379 to under $140, so it is a great deal).

I can't wait to start decorating CCC for the holidays. Luckily, my Thanksgiving wine tasting and food pairing is this Friday, so I will be busy getting ready for it this week. Then I can turn my attention back to finalizing my Christmas decorating plans.
