Tonight I am hosting a French wine tasting and dinner. The centerpiece on the buffet table will be a wicker basket filled with French baguettes. At dinner, a baguette will be distributed to each table.
An hors d'oeuvres that is so easy to make - less than 5 minutes and so delicious. Put a package of Boursin Garlic & Herb (5.3 ounces) and a package of smoked salmon (4 ounces) in the food processor and process to combine. Add 6 tablespoons of cream and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and process until light and fluffy. Add more cream if too stiff. Add more lemon juice as desired to taste. Put in a small bowl and garnish with fresh dill or fresh chives or capers. Boursin Shallot & Chive is also great for this recipe.
Serve on crackers or sliced baguette. This will be served with a Crémant D'Alsace.
