Last summer seashell handbags were very popular. This season the fish bag is having a moment and there are some darling ones. Here are some favorites. This is part of the fishermancore trend that is taking the season by storm.

ReplyDeleteHave carried woven baskets since college, decades ago. Various sizes depending on what layer of work is needful daily. Daily basket is not large, handle not high, yet it is 'fat' for greater comfort looped at forearm/elbow.
A larger basket is used for Church, holds Sunday School books, and Bible.
Jobsite workdays, I use my largest wicker basket, the handle fits comfortably in crook of my arm.
Weight distribution using baskets much easier to carry than same weight in other type 'purses-bags-bucket bags-cross body-shoulder bag-satchels-etc .
Acquired several squares of amazing unaffordable-to-me fabrics, gift from a friend, they're spread atop the baskets.
Beth, you would be horrified to know the quantity & types of purses inherited from my mom. From satchels to ladies-who-lunch. Still, my baskets rule.
Glad none of the Fish bags are at nearby store, one would come home with me !
