Many of us have small, senior, or pets with delicate backs who we don't want jumping on and off of beds or furniture. Pet steps are great for this purpose, but many ramps and stairs are way too ugly for my home. I have found safe, good looking, and affordable pet stairs. I ordered this one in ivory and to me it looks like it could be from somewhere like Serena & Lily. It looks like it is slipcovered in white cotton duck or canvas like many beach house sofas are.
My dogs are very clean indoor dogs and the cover unzips for easy washing and drying, so the color does not concern me at all. But there are other great options in colors if that is your preference. My dogs love it and I finally have pet steps that are not an eyesore. Great for kittens and senior cats as well.

This is one of my favorite purchases for my pups and CCC in ages. Finally I have have pet steps I do not have to hide in the closet during the day!
I have cats, so they are able to get up on my bed, and just about anywhere else they please, so I don't need pet steps, but this is very cute, and I'm sure your pups appreciate it, Beth. BTW, I love your bed. Isn't it an Annie Selke bed? I almost bought this same bed, which is no longer made in brass, but I didn't because I was in the process of moving, didn't want to move a bed twice, and wasn't sure what size mattress I would have.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I referenced kittens and senior cats who might need the steps. Yes, the bed is Annie Selke but it is gold leafed not brass. It's stunning and one of my favorite pieces.
