Champagne Cocktail - Epicurious

I am having an early New Year's Eve party on Saturday and there will of course be lots of bubbly. I am serving two incredibly easy and delicious Champagne cocktails that guests can make for themselves. Whether you are hosting or staying in on NYE, try these.

The first is the Champagne Cocktail. 

CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL RECIPE

Place a sugar cube in a Champagne flute

Douse it with 2 or 3 dashes of bitters (the classic is Angostura)

Fill the glass with Champagne

Garnish with a lemon twist

Next is a Chambord Kir Royale - Chambord is a wonderful French black raspberry liquer made in France's Loire Valley.

Add an ounce of Chambord to flute

Fill with Champagne

Garnish with a raspberry

I print these recipes out in large print and put them on the bar with all the ingredients. Guests can make their own cocktails.
