Hurricane Milton 2024 |
I took off at 6 am yesterday and drove to Miami with my friend and pups. We are safe in a lovely hotel in downtown Miami. Miami is filled with thousands of evacuees. I have no word on whether my house was hit with storm surge or trees and such. I know winds there were horrible for hours. 3.2 million in Florida without power including me and could take weeks to restore.
Glad to hear you and your friend and pups are safe. Continued prayers for everyone involved in this horrible storm. The devastation is shocking.❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update. I’m glad to hear you’re safe in Miami. I hope that your house escaped serious damage and that you will be able to return shortly.
ReplyDeleteI checked your site a couple times yesterday hoping for a word on how you were doing. Good to hear you made it out of the area safely.
ReplyDeleteNeeded to hear from you. Thank you Beth. From my heart to yours.❤️

ReplyDeleteWhew! Worried about you and your pups yesterday when I saw videos from Venice and nearby! Glad you are safe!
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting us know, Beth. Glad you are safe and sound. I have family that lives in St. Pete, and I know there was a mandatory evacuation there. I've not been in communication with them since Monday. Extremely worrisome. I'm praying, not just for Floridians, but for everyone in that part of the country that was hit by this devastating storm.
ReplyDeleteThis is a serious lesson for people in other parts of the country who may have to face an evacuation should an event such as this happen to them.
ReplyDeleteAppreciate the update and relieved to know you're safe. This, too, shall pass.
