The Perfect Transitional Jacket for Fall

Olive Green Quilted Yates Jacket

If you are looking for a great transitional jacket for this time of year, I have some wonderful choices - all are olive green and quilted - both features I love. This is a fall neutral that goes with all autumn colors. Works with denim, corduroy, plaids, and more. Layer it over a turtleneck or sweater. This is also a perfect choice for those of us in warm climates for fall and winter where no heavy wool jackets or coats are needed.

The Olive Green Quilted Yates Jacket is a classic and timeless everyday outerwear silhouette you will wear for years to come. With a sleek all-over diamond quilted pattern and oversized patch pockets for some functional flair, this neutral piece has a charming button down front and a flattering hem with side slits which makes it easy to style with nearly anything. Layer yours over striped long sleeves, hoodies, or turtlenecks for country strolls in the crisp air or for a cozy morning coffee run.

I had to include these Jack sandals in olive green - such a great color for here in Florida where temps are still in the high eighties, but I'd love to start wearing autumn colors -

  1. Now your'e talking. Fall, fall wonderful fall. Barbour is such a good investment.
Jeans, riding boots and a brown fedora takes the coat to the next (regal) level.
When the movie "The Queen" was released the Barbour jacket Helen Mirren wore sold out in NYC in less than two days. Bought mine in Scotland a few years prior and it's still one of my favorite. Shows some wear, but to me those are wonderful memories. Also want to say thank you for yesterday's post. Irish sweaters, British
jackets. I'm ready for a trip to Cornwall.
Thanks Beth. Maybe you have the ear of the weather goddess, gently ask if she can cool things off. No hurricanes please. Done with those this year.
