I saw these fabulous Scalamandre X Mae pieces when I was perusing Over The Moon's site - perhaps my favorite site on which to shop. I absolutely love pink too. Everything from the palest whisper of a pink all the way to Elsa Schiaparelli's "Shocking", and everything in between. Pinks and corals are my favorite colors.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Helene has passed you by. It's horrible to see the devastation that has happened. Before long I will be making a major change in my life, and have seriously considered moving to FL, but I'm not sure how well I would cope with the possibility of natural disasters on this scale.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to find anywhere in this country that is not affected by extreme weather. This storm impacted terribly Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. I have many friends in Alexandria, Virginia without power. Asheville is in the mountains and it has been devastated. Other regions deal with wild fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, and blizzards. I cannot find anywhere I would like to live that is not at risk. Quite a conundrum.
