I have loved lily of the valley since I was a child. My parents' garden had a large woodland area filled with thousands of trillium and lily of the valley. I think the scent of lily of the valley is wonderful. I loved collecting little bouquets for my bedroom.

ReplyDeleteSeeing lilies of the valley takes me back -- they adorned Jackie O's coffin, Carolyn Bessette carried a bouquet of these blooms when she wed JFK Jr, and they were the favorite flower of Audrey Hepburn.
ReplyDeleteI, too, love lily of the valley. Unfortunately, I was never allowed to bring flowers inside because they "had bugs on them".
