| Famille Rose Scented Candle |
Of course "famille rose" does not have a scent - it is a type of Chinese porcelain introduced in the 18th century and very popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. The term famille rose (meaning of the “pink family”) refers to porcelain glazed with enamels in a predominantly pink, white, yellow, and green color palette.
Williams Sonoma imagined that if it had a scent it would be the floral, citrusy aroma of jasmine, vetiver and neroli. This scented candle and jar are inspired by the famille rose pattern – a multicolored design of botanicals, birds and butterflies. Just light the wick to provide gentle illumination and uplifting fragrance in any room. The candle has a burn time of up to 80 hours.

It is also available in lovely diffuser. Diffusers are wonderful for spots where you want a continuous scent without a lit candle - I always have diffusers in my entryway and in my powder room. The reeds gently diffuse the scented oil into the space.
