Brussels Griffon Puppy |
I decided that all I want for Christmas is a new puppy. Dogs are my favorite thing in the world. So I have decided on a Brussels Griffon and have found a wonderful breeder in Florida and am on her waitlist.
This will not happen until 2024 - this breed is quite rare and I want a female and a rough coat - they come in two different coats and four colors.

Do any of you have any experience with this breed? I had a friend in Alexandria with a pair and they were wonderful. I have spent a year trying to find another Japanese Chin like Harper and it has proven impossible here, so I have regrouped. I need another tiny girl - Harper is only four pounds! I think a Griff will be a good choice in terms of size and temperament with my beloved Harper.
Harper is looking forward to having a new buddy.

That's definitely a Christmas gift worth waiting for! Looking forward to news of the puppy's arrival. Have you seen the pet subscription boxes that are available? We subscribe to PupBox, but there are others.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful! Are you working on names yet?
ReplyDeleteToy pomeranians are also a good tiny option!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I puppy sit for two Griffons in NC. One a retired champion. They are wonderful dogs. I’m not a smalls dog person but I love this breed. Just received a glass blown Griffon Christmas ornament to give to the owners, plus one for myself because I enjoy them so much. Please keep us updated!❤️🐶❤️
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and son in law have one and she is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine a better Christmas present. It's a gift that keeps on giving.
ReplyDeleteI remember the Brussels Griffon from the Helen Hunt movie, As Good As It Gets. Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteEarly Congratulations, Beth, I think you made a wonderful choice
ReplyDeleteThat face! A friend of mine who was a dedicated animal lover had a Brussels Griffon. He was a darling dog. She also had horses, cats, and exotic birds.
