My Christmas Wish List

Estelle Colored Glass Decanter - Heritage Collection in Fuchsia

I have never been especially excited by glassware. That changed a couple of years ago when I was introduced to Estelle Colored Glass. I am completely smitten and have now started a collection. The woman founder and owner of Estelle named the company after her grandmother who loved entertaining and antiquing and collecting colored glass.

The founder of Estelle Colored Glass named the collection in honor of her grandmother, Estelle, who she describes as "a jewel of a person that instilled in me an appreciation of the pastime of treasure hunting for beautiful finds -- especially for the kitchen which was the heart of her home."

These heirloom pieces are designed in Charleston, South Carolina and blown by hand in Poland by artisans. I think the colors are stunning. They have a luminescent quality that is hard to describe but gorgeous. They elevate setting the table to another level with all the color options. This woman owned company went from obscurity to fame during the pandemic with more dining (and alcohol consumption) at home.

This has become the "it" glassware that modern brides are registering for. While I registered for china and silver when I got married, I did not register for crystal because there was nothing I loved. I do now.

The collection includes glassware, decanters, and cake stands. The problem is picking a color - they are all too gorgeous and really perfect for mixing and matching. Most people do not pick one color but collect any colors they love.

The decanter above is from their new Limited Edition Heritage Collection. You can see the Heritage Collection here.

Anything from Estelle would make a stunning gift for anyone special on your Christmas list.
