If you too are a fan of artist Sally King Benedict, you may have noticed the art in the living room, atrium, and bedroom. In 2022 SKB sold a wonderful calendar with her artwork. They were the perfect size and I got mini canvases and I turned three of them into art for the dollhouse.

It's so pretty early evening with the sun coming through the kitchen aquarium window.

Your bamboo doll house is adorable! I have that Tommy Bahama fabric as drapes in my guest room. It's always been a favorite of mine and reminds me of The Beverly Hills Hotel.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, fun project! I love what you’re doing here.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the Atrium. I have a miniature hammock with striped fabric that very much resembles your beach chairs. It's sits on my night stand and I use it to rest my reading glasses. Where in the world do you find this stuff, Beth? I've noticed some really great shops on Etsy that have doll house size furniture, but of the ones I have seen, they are more Shabby Chic in style or in the style of the Louis. Some of the artists are very talented.
ReplyDeleteIt really is looking fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThe Herrend adds a nice touch too.
ReplyDeleteThat is just incredible! I have the same Oriental vases you have in the corners. Did you know they were part of a Franklin Mint vase of the month club back in the late 70s? I was a young bride then and felt so grownup collecting them (just had our 50th anniversary and still have the collection!)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking for Alice's shrinking potion so I can live in your mini beach house. My favorites are the blue Chinoiserie fish bowl stools and the art. You nailed it all, Beth!
ReplyDeleteFantastic Beth.
ReplyDeleteThis is so great, what a wonderful creation.
ReplyDeleteYou are in Florida. You NEED a ceiling fan!
