January Organizing - The Jewelry Drawer

Pinterest

Our January organizing series continues today with a fun idea that you can likely do with things you have already.

Use a drawer in a dresser or vanity and fill it with teacups, saucers, or bowls from your china collection - extra credit for chinoiserie pieces. Mixing and matching vintage pieces works beautifully. And if you like, line the drawer with a piece of wallpaper. Such a chic and stylish way to organize your costume jewelry.

Here is more inspiration.

And what about some fabulous Scalamandre wallpaper at a ridiculously fabulous price for this project or another? This peel and stick wallpaper is wonderful.

  3. What an idea you have given me. I never, ever use the teacups and saucers from my wedding china (47 years ago) - a Tiffany Limoges pattern.

  5. I love this idea! So chic and much cuter than the clear plastic bins touted by The Home Edit!

  6. I had a dear friend who was an antiques dealer, and she used to do this. (Sadly, she passed away a number of years ago.) Lining the drawers always looks so pretty, and makes the simple act of opening them such a pleasure.
