The Christmas Tree - Florida Edition

The Colony Palm Beach

I am crazy about Christmas trees here in South Florida that embrace an upscale and glamorous beachy look. This is an amazing example.

I spy lots of starfish and coral sea fans and seashells of all kinds and ornaments in a palette of coral and blue. Of course the background of the de Gournay wallpaper is stunning. The tree was done by Aerin Lauder. Here is a closeup.

I am so happy with my own Christmas tree. I spent the last couple of months hunting down chinoiserie, seashell, and sea life ornaments. My goal for today (while watching the World Cup) is to take some photos to post. Here is a little peek.

If you missed the Black Friday Sale on Frango Mint Chocolates, the deal is back for a One Day Sale. These chocolates have been a favorite of mine since I was a child. My family would go to Marshall Field's in Chicago and have lunch by the famous Christmas tree, and then buy a box. Frango Mints were originally made in the candy kitchen on the 13th floor. I stock up on them this time of year when they are on sale. They make great gifts!

Regularly priced at $30, they are on sale for $12 and you can get a bonus box if you like at checkout for $10.99 and they will arrive for Christmas. Free shipping with $25 order.

  5. Your Christmas tree is beautiful. I've yet to try the Franco chocolates, and I am a chocolate freak. It's been quite cold here in the SF bay area. Some below freezing temperatures over night. (That is cold for us.) Some rain, but not enough. We really need much more.
