Here are a couple of ideas for a Chinoiserie Chic New Year's Eve. I have posted both before, but they have become NYE traditions at CCC.

The Chinoiserie Chic New Year's Eve Champagne Cocktail
1 Part Domaine de Canton French Ginger Liquer
3 Parts Champagne, Sparkling Wine, or Prosecco
Squeeze the juice of a lemon wedge
Add a lemon twist
Serve in a Champagne flute
With its exquisite pagoda inspired Chinoiserie bottle and equally amazing taste, this French ginger liquer deserves a spot on your bar. It is well priced (under $40) and easily found at stores like Total Wine. This French liquer combines baby Vietnamese ginger and cognac. It can be had on its own or used in dozens of cocktails - click here for recipes.

This is so easy and so dramatic. I use two huge blue and white ginger jars. The paper lanterns could be blue, white, gold, silver, black - whatever matches your decor. They can be found at your local party store. The bamboo poles can be found in garden departments.

I remember you posting the paper lanterns on poles. They are so fun and festive, and the shoes are a kick! HA.
