A Blue Champagne Bucket

Oscar de la Renta Champagne Bucket

A decade ago, fashion designer and master of entertaining Oscar de la Renta debuted a tropical-inspired line of home accessories infused with the breezy sophistication of his beach house. I bought several pieces at the time at Saks Fifth Avenue before the line was discontinued, but there are several pieces I didn't get and have been tying to track down ever since. They would go especially well in my Florida home.

One piece was this stunning blue Champagne bucket in the shape of a classical urn.

Alas, I have never found it, but did I did just see this one below at Mark and Graham. It is on clearance plus an additional 30% off and free shipping with code MERRY. And one can personalize it with a sandblasted monogram or up to 10 characters of text. I quite like this and a blue Champagne bucket will work so well in my home and for polo match tailgating.

Mark and Graham is having a fabulous Black Friday Sale with Black Friday Deals, Free Shipping, and an additional 30% off clearance. Shop the sale here. There are also lots of Dana Gibson pieces on clearance with an additional 30% off and free shipping. Lots of blue and white and ginger jars. Find them here. Use code MERRY.

I personally love Champagne. It is my adult beverage of choice. My go-to in a well-priced sparkling wine (under $20) is Chandon which is Moet et Chandon's California version. It is delicious to drink on its own and well priced enough to use for Mimosas or Bellinis.

  1. I can't recall the number of times I've passed on purchasing something I loved, because it wasn't on my budget, I had no use for it at that particular moment in time, or I had other priorities. Thinking I would buy it at soon, at some point down the road, then kicking myself only to learn that it was no longer available. Keep searching. Don't give up. You will eventually find it.

    1. Generally true, but this line of Oscar de la Renta has been a challenge.
