Shea McGee of Studio McGee |
Any Studio McGee fans out there? Shea McGee is a very talented and popular interior designer - she has a line for Target that I love. She was spotted in NYC wearing one of my favorite dresses.
The Tuckernuck Finley Flutter Sleeve Dress is really the perfect dress. It looks good on everyone of every age and any body type. It is available in many colors. It can be worn during the day with flats or sandals or sneakers and heels at night. It has pockets. It's 100% cotton. It is incredibly comfortable. It is incredibly flattering and forgiving. It's a great dress for travel. It is under $130. Free shipping and returns. It runs roomy, so if you are between sizes, size down.
I have this dress in the pink and the black and wear them all the time. It is always a best seller at Tuckernuck and with good reason. Click on the captions to link.

I LOVE Tuckernuck, but due to my age, I can't wear a lot of their dresses (too short). Their tops are amazing, however.
ReplyDeleteI find the length of this to be perfect and these models are much taller than me. They also have dozens of midi and maxi length dresses.
DeleteI have ordered two different Tuckenuck dresses and could use some help. Both were so thin that I had to send them back. Anyone have good luck with one of their dresses where the material is more substantial? If
ReplyDeleteso which dress? Love their styles. PS love Lilly Pulitzer dresses and always have good luck with them but really wanted to try something different .
This one - that's why I posted on it.
DeleteJust came back from Tuckernut in Georgetown. Didn't see your post before I left, but I certainly thought about you. I know you don't miss the traffic and construction. The weather is about the same. An outdoor sauna. Stay cool.
ReplyDeleteI love Georgetown - I lived there during law school and my daughter's first job out of college was there. The weather is nicer here IMO - a lovely ocean breeze and late afternoon showers that cool things off.
