I Need a Pool Boy

Meg Braff

This is so fun - banana leaf wallpaper in the vestibule and bathroom. Interestingly enough, this is in a historic 1901 home in Maine and not in Florida. This Tropical Palm Beach Chinoiserie look has become so popular no matter where you live. I have seen it in Manhattan apartments and country cottages. So let your freak flag fly - decorate your home with whatever makes you happy wherever you live. My daughter and her fiancé have put a tiki bar inside their Georgian Colonial in Annapolis, Maryland.

The wallpaper is Meg Braff's Beverly Hills in Green on Cream.

I cracked up at the Pool Boy button - I need one of these and I found it - LOL. These are hand made out of concrete and hand painted and the button rings! It even has a vintage ring sound. Available in black and white, pink and green, or multicolor. Details like this make such a difference in a home.

I think one of these would be perfect for CCC. I'm still deciding on the color.

  2. I love the wallpaper, and just about anything tropical. The Pool Boy button is great. There are SO MANY cool, beautiful and unusual things on Etsy that it's hard to know where to start.

  5. My question is how do you get hold of this wallpaper without hiring a designer.

  6. If they can get Dan Stevens to show up with a gallon of chlorine and a pool water test kit when I push that button I'll order one for every room in the house.
