Interior Design & Beauty Tip

Quince Silk Pillowcase in Navy

A few months ago I switched to sleeping on silk pillowcases. They have many benefits to your hair and your skin. Read this article here from Good Housekeeping. They can help prevent wrinkles, prevent bedhead and frizzy hair, prolong blowdries, keep skin hydrated, keep hair healthy, and improve your sleep. I also think they look great on your bed. They are essential for me for making the perfect bed.

After a few months of sleeping on silk, I am a complete believer. I sleep better and wake up with my skin and hair looking fabulous. Seriously. I was recently introduced to Quince silk pillowcases and was impressed with their reviews and price point and ordered a pair in navy. I use them with my Serena and Lily Soho sheets in navy - my favorite sheets. I like being able to mix and match my silk pillowcases with my sheets. The Quince pillowcases are in beautiful colors like Navy, Blush, Gray, Champagne, and Ivory.

The quality is excellent, they launder beautifully, and they are very well priced. They are normally priced at $39.90 each in queen, but right now are specially priced at $69.90 for the queen pair. And I have a code for you to receive an extra $10 off making them $59.90 for the pair with free shipping and a 365 day return policy. They are available in several colors and in queen or king size.

    1. Yes - when you find yourself in the middle of a hot flash, the excess sweat and heat can make your sleep very uncomfortable. Silk, unlike any other fabric, has the unique property that allows it to absorb moisture without getting damp. As a result, the silk sheets will absorb the heat directly from your body and still remain dry, offering you a feeling of coolness. This is called thermoregulation, a unique property of silk fibers.

    1. Thank you. Please let me know how they work. I do not have hot flashes, but live in Florida and hate feeling hot when I sleep, and I find the silk a big improvement.
