Meg Braff Designs - Flower Magazine |
Such beautiful colors in this library by Meg Braff. The patterned fabric is a favorite of mine - Quadrille's Les Indiennes Multicolor. Notice in this room the Chinese Chippendale chair, blue and white Chinese porcelain, and Chinese lamp. I think this fabric works beautifully with chinoiserie.

Here are some other wonderful examples in its many colorways. Note the many rooms that combine chinoiserie with this stunning fabric. My personal preference is using it on chairs, pillows, and roman shades as I am not the biggest fan of patterned sofas and curtains.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful rooms!
DeleteThat first Meg Braff room is simply divine!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Meg Braff library, although I would add a few more touches of black. I always feel that a room is too "float-y" if it's not grounded in black.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the black - the coffee table and/or Chinese Chippendale chair would be great in black.
DeleteFirst Meg Braff, McCann Group, Kevin Isbell.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful choices.
DeleteThe bottom Meg is my favorite- the black makes all the difference!
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
DeleteBeautiful rooms and beautiful fabric! It looks great in all colorways!
ReplyDeleteIt has 17 colorways!!!
DeleteAl Spok, I Love all the Rooms ! Thanks for sending the Photos !!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them.
DeleteI'm in love with that first room as shown in the second photograph!
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteMario Buatta. How I miss him and his dreamy designs, and his sometime potty mouth. More is more.
ReplyDeleteThere is nobody like him. He was my inspiration for many years and many homes.
DeleteSuch pretty, colorful spaces I'd love to visit or live in permanently! So tired am I of the stark all-white, light gray, or 'Serena & Lily" look that's so predominant today. There's nothing like color, pattern, and chinoiserie to excite and satisfy the senses.
