Apple Watch

Apple Watch 6 Series



I got myself an Apple Watch (in pink like above) that arrived yesterday. I set it up last evening and can't wait to start using it. Any suggestions on apps, functions, etc.? I am especially interested in all the health apps - I have already done my blood oxygen, heart rate, and an EKG.

  1. The timer is really useful when cooking. Also, I really appreciate the haptic taps when you use driving directions in Maps - it's a great way to remind you that you'll need to make a turn or change lanes. As a runner (and occasional walker), having one's pulse and heart rate when exercising is useful. As an office worker, the activity functions are nice for getting me and moving throughout the day.

    Also, Epic Watch Bands, https://www.epicwatchbands.com, makes some really nice bands - I particularly like their rainbow stainless steel mesh.

  2. You will have to let me know how you like it, Beth. I'm not much of a techy. In fact, I hardly ever wear a watch anymore at all. I only carry my iPhone, and just recently purchased a new iPhone 12 pro max to replace my old 6s, which I had for almost six years! (Love the camera on my new phone!)
