A very hot trend for 2021 in kitchen design is the reeded cabinet. Very chic, fresh, and clean lined, the ribbed front adds textural interest and a very modern look. It plays well with other styles too like shaker, and can be used in the kitchen as an accent wall of cabinets. It reminds me of bamboo, and I think it would be stunning with blue and white Chinese porcelain accents.
This style would also work beautifully in a bathroom.

DeleteThe idea seems to have come from linen fold paneling of the Middle Ages. The ribbing is an update.
