I think my favorite space in my home is what I jokingly call The Palm Court because of all its palms and because its only function is to be fun and fanciful. The former dining room, it is now home to palm trees, flamingos, and blue and white Chinese porcelain.
It's a picture perfect day here and I am going out on a friend's boat with the pups. I could get used to this being on vacation every day!

DeleteLiving the dream!!!!! Love those flamingos!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you. The flamingos are actually Christmas decorations but I love them too much to put them away.
DeleteLove "Palm Court!" Have a wonderful time today.
ReplyDeleteThanks - it is a fun space. I had a great time on the boat. Love the lifestyle here.
DeleteTONY DUQUETTE never gets old or tired. You discover something new and fantastical every time you look at one of his interiors, there is so much to love and and be inspired by. And the color and patterns...a true wonderland.
ReplyDeleteI love the whimsy and fantasy of his design.
DeleteTony D was one of a kind, no one ever came close if for no other reason than the sheer scale of his interiors.
ReplyDeleteSomeone who is inspiring in his own right and coming from T.D's "more is more", anti minimalist school of decorating is Howard Slatkin. I love this man, love his attention to detail, love to listen to him talk about his home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMrJreTHcRo
I love Slatkin's 5th Avenue apartment.
DeleteTony D will be thee shortly.
ReplyDeleteLOL.
