Slim Aarons |
This picture (although taken in California, not Florida), captures for me what it's like spending Christmas in a tropical climate. Having spent my Christmases in either the Chicago or the DC areas, this is definitely a change, but a wonderful one.
My huge Slim Aarons piece is framed and hung - pictures to come soon. Miraculously, my wallpaper hanger has been at the house this week and finishes today. The timing has not been the best, but I am thrilled that the house projects will be all done as of today with no more workers here. My Christmas present!
Although our Treasure Coast forecast for Christmas night is 37! yikes. Time to bring in the orchids.Like the old days in the 70s when we had frigid winters here. These CBS block houses with tile floors really hold the cold inside too, used to have to go outside to warm up because I don’t enjoy forced heat. I cannot WAIT to see your Slim Aaron’s art, a favorite artist of mine. And the wall paper from your former laundry room. Merry Christmas Beth, I’ve enjoyed following you this year and was happy for you to have socially distanced support via your blog during your creep crisis. May 2021 be full of hope and joy and all good things, God bless. Pamela
