I did a little Christmas decorating yesterday, a pair of Christmas flamingos. Aren't they fun? (A HomeGoods find). I also used flamingos outdoors - I will post on those this week.
Merry Christmas! I love your home. Its beautiful! Amazing how much you've accomplished in a short amount of time. Where is the tree? I want to see that, too!
I always enjoy seeing what you've done and how you've tweaked various areas. LOVE the flamingos! (perhaps small wreaths around their necks when outdoors?)
Just a simple change, a switcharoo or an addition of a new treasure must very gratifying and your place lends itself to that and more. It's a gift that keeps on giving, isn't it?
Since I was born in FL I have always loved flamingos. Yours are so much fun! Alas, no flamingo decor up here in the frozen tundra where it is 36 today with wind gusts from the north. Someday I hope to join you in the Sunshine State.
Love seeing your progress. Your home looks lovely, and the flamingos bring the whimsy. I have been decking the halls all weekend. Fa,la,la. Thank you for sharing your homes transformation with all of us.
It's starting to look a lot like Christmas - so pretty. I have to admit that my eyes turn green with envy each time I see your wonderful pagoda foyer fixture, it's just stunning. Any thought of hanging mistletoe from it? You never know when it could come in handy ;-) I loved hearing Gloria Vanderbilt say that she was sure the next great love of her life was just around the corner.

Thank you to opening your doors to us.
Thank you. The outdoor flamingos are green boxwood topiaries.

ReplyDeleteI left the Midwest at 18 for college and never looked back. I could not deal with the winters at all, even as a child.

ReplyDeleteNot during the pandemic. A kiss is not worth dying over.
DeleteI am in love with those flamingos!! Don’t think I could pull those off here in Texas, but they are something special!
ReplyDeletePut cowboy boots on them.
