Rebecca de Ravenel Chinoiserie Bon Bon Earrings |
If the truth be told, I love fashion almost as much as I love interior design. I especially have a thing for earrings And I wear earrings 24/7! I am a big fan of Rebecca de Ravenel's. I love these Chinoiserie earrings so much, but they are $295.

Guess which ones I am ordering?
I just ordered the smaller earrings, I’ll bet there will be a run on them today!
ReplyDeleteGlad you ordered them.
DeleteI just ordered them too. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteGreat!
DeleteWhat a great find! Don't you love it when that happens? Extra gratifying.
ReplyDeleteYes, can't wait to get them.
DeleteKnowing you the way we do ~ I’m going to say you’ll stay true to go big or go home and order the largest ones they make 😉 thanks for always sharing your great finds. ☀️❤️☀️
ReplyDeleteBoth?
ReplyDeleteMy guess, too!
DeleteThe large Etsy ones.
DeleteI'd love to see more fashion posts these earrings are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI will do that - thanks!
DeleteIt is amazing how "designers" are able to overprice their goods by such a huge percentage! But...someone must buy them at that high price.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the hand painted oyster shells available on etsy??? If not you will love them! A bit pricy but so cute. I have not ordered any as of yet, but hope to soon.
Generally the designer's overpriced item factors in the originality of design--the intellectual property. It's often better made as well.
DeleteMuch like the Hermes Kelly bag: you can easily pay over $15k for an authentic new bag or you can get a knock-off for under a $100. Much has been written and debated about this but ultimately people decide for themselves what something is worth to them and it's always subjective.
teaorwine - Yes, the oyster shells are darling.
DeleteDelta - True, and I am a big fan of designer items.
I would love for you to include more fashion posts, especially about your go-to outfits, investment buys, tips for finding dupes for expensive items (you are a master of that!), and how you adapt your outfits seasonally (i know it’s still warm in Sarasota). I just love your style and it would be inspiring to me to get your thoughts on clothing.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. Thanks.
