My Closet

Happy Mother's Day! As you may recall, two weeks ago I was inspired to organize and stage my closet. I was delayed in posting because I wanted everything on black velvet hangers from Costco and I underestimated and ran out. I just go every couple of weeks nowadays for obvious reasons. I organized everything by color to make things easier to find.

I also organized all of my accessories in the Container Store drawer unit and my collection of vintage hats on the shelves. I created a gallery wall leaning the art on the shelf. It's all very girly and fun and very me.

  2. Thank you for showing us your fabulous closet. Love the vintage hats and the storage ideas. The black hangers really show off your clothes. When I look into my closet I see hangers! So...a new project for me.

    1. I bought 200 and still need a few more. Costco's are $13.99 for 50 - excellent price and quality and they save room and do not get hooked together.

    2. I may have sent publish when I wasn't ready! If so, please forgive. I love your closet and the riot of color and patterns. My heart is taken by the hats, especially the one with the clock face on the top. I don't think you have as many shoes as Imelda, but I think you could give her a run for the people of Phillippine's money for the diversity of color and style! What a wonderful fun place to enjoy being a girl in.

    3. Thanks. The shoes are actually three rows deep all around the perimeter and I have another walk in closet upstairs with tons more. I have quite a collection of vintage hats including some very rare ones like a collection of Bes-Ben.
