In Naples, Florida house hunting and what it outside my hotel room but a Dana Gibson Chinoiserie giclee.

  1. It's almost like a sign that Naples is the town for you.
I have been following your blog for a little while and saw in my bloglovin' feed today that you are house hunting in Naples. That got my attention because we bought our home here three and a half years ago and our only regret is that we didn't do it sooner. We still have a home up north that we are currently trying to sell and we are remodeling a smaller one to downsize in to. We still have kids and parents up north so we aren't ready to leave that area entirely. We're hoping the smaller home will be perfect for when we are visiting our Midwest friends and family
The home we bought in Naples is in North Naples and it was the catalyst for my blog, Be Colorful Coastal. It has been fun to write about the challenges and rewards of relocating to a home seven states away but it keeps me accountable and I enjoy looking back to see how much progress we have made updating our coastal home.
I hope you find what you are looking for here and I would be excited to see and follow along on your blog as you write about your new home and how you make it uniquely yours.

Good luck and happy house hunting. ( I loved that part of it. I can't think of anything more fun than looking at houses) :D

  2. I wrote a rather lengthy comment the other day but I'm not sure it posted so if this is a repeat, I apologize,
The title of this post grabbed my attention since we purchased our home here in Naples three years ago. We love it and only wish we had made this decision earlier. I hope you find the home of your dreams here or at least one that you can make into the home of your dreams. Ours has been a three-year affair and we are almost done with round one. My husband thinks we will be through. Hmmm. LOL. Good luck on the house hunt.
